Evening Prayer and Praise Services

Come along and join us at our Prayer and Praise services on 9th February at St Barnabas and 23rd February at All Saints - both 6 pm.

Cafe 2535 - Sundays

Cafe 2535 is a new church community we are hosting at All Saints. It follows the morning service. Essentially, there will be 6 main points that people can choose to engage with: Prayer; Praise; Peace; Serving; Exploration and discussion; Fun. Why not come along and support Lloyd as he leads this new community. Pick up a term card by the door at All Saints for more details.

Connect Groups

We are launching two new connect groups:

- Tuesday afternoon at St Barnabas (1.30 pm) starting on 4th Feb.

- Tuesday evening at Lloyd’s (start date to be confirmed).

Please see Kate or Lloyd for more details.

The St Barnabas group will give an exciting opportunity to join together for prayer, fellowship and teaching. Led by Kate this group will explore many aspects of our faith. Initially, we will be exploring the Lord's Prayer asking what it is teaching us and how it is relevant to our lives today. Come for as many or few sessions as you would like, it is very flexible, but do come!

We also have the existing Connect study group that is held fortnightly at All Saints Church on Wednesdays at 7 pm. If you would like a chance to deepen your faith in a very supportive small group environment we would love you to be there!

St Barnabas Craft Group

We are pleased to announce the start of the new free St Barnabas Craft Group starting on Mondays at 1.30 pm from Feb 3rd. A chance to get together, chat and start or complete a new craft project with like minded friends. All ages are very welcome!

A fun night for all the family! Come and join us for a quiz night to raise funds in memory of Mark Laney. To be held at St Barnabas Church on Sat 29th February. All welcome - tickets £4. See Janette or Kate.

Nigel’s Role as Operations Manager

Some of you may know that Nigel Moat is being ordained in July as a Curate. Heidi and Nigel will be moving to North West Norfolk in July. He is therefore stepping down from his role as Operations Manager at the end of February. Our aim is to have a replacement in post by then to allow for a handover period. He will still be around until the end of May though as Huntingdon will continue to be his training parish.

Parish Giving Scheme

We have now launched the new Parish Giving Scheme. This will enable those who wish to give financially to the work and mission of the church to set up regular direct debits. If this is something you would like to consider please see Nigel Moat or Steve Radley who will be able to pass on the relevant details to you.
